Plastic 1 - 7 can now be recycled.

NEEBING – With the recent announcement that Municipal Landfill sites will take plastics numbered 1 through 7, the Muncipality of Neebing is advising its residents on what types of plastic are allowed to be recycled.

In addition to the acceptable plastics and cans like pop cans, milk cartons, juice boxes and metal cans, drink bottles, soap bottles, and salad and fruit containers labelled 1 through 7 can now be put into the blue recycling bag. However, no plastic shopping bags are allowed.

If you do not know the number of the plastic containers, the numbers are located on the bottom end.

Always remember to rinse any liquid or food residue in your plastics before placing these items in clear or blue bags before bringing them to the Landfill Site.
