Rainy River OPP investigate another bomb threat at a Fort Frances school

Rainy River District OPP will continue to have an increased police presence in the school and surrounding area.

FORT FRANCES — Rainy River OPP continues to investigate a bomb threat at Fort Frances High School. 

In a police release, OPP stated they received a bomb threat on Wednesday around 1 pm. 

The threat suggested that a bomb would be at the school sometime between Wednesday and Friday. 

While police are investigating this incident, a previous threat was made over the weekend that a bomb would be at the school on Monday. 

Rainy River District OPP will continue to have an increased police presence in the school and surrounding area.

Anyone with information pertaining to this incident or those who observe any suspicious activities in the vicinity of the school are urged to contact the OPP by dialling 9-1-1.
