NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO -- Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for parts of the region on Friday.

The government weather agency says periods of rain mixed with wet snow will continue through Friday afternoon. Most of the snow should melt on contact and no significant snowfall accumulations are anticipated.

Additional rainfall amounts of 10 to 15 millimetres are possible.

  • Dryden - Vermilion Bay
  • Savant Lake - Sturgeon Lake
  • Sioux Lookout - Eastern Lac Seul
