KENORA -- Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for parts of the region.
The government weather agency says slow moving thunderstorms are currently affecting the area and are producing heavy downpours in some areas Monday morning.
Up to 40 to 60 millimetres of rain is expected, with higher amounts possible until later Monday morning.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
