SIOUX LOOKOUT – A serious assault in Sioux Lookout is under investigation.
Ontario Provincial Police, in a release issued on Monday, Aug. 25, 2025, said the were called to a residence on Millar Crescent on Friday, Aug. 22 at about 6 p.m., where they found an individual suffering from life-threatening injuries.
The victim remains in hospital.
Police say their investigation suggests it’s an isolated incident, with no signs of a broader threat, but they continue to investigate and residents in the area can expect to see an increased police presence as the investigation continues.
Police did not say if there was a suspect or if an arrest or arrests have been made.
