IGNACE — Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal collision on Highway 599 that occurred Wednesday morning.
The road was closed shortly before 6:30 a.m. between Highway 17 and Highway 642.
A police spokesperson confirmed late in the afternoon that one person was deceased, but provided no other details.
She said the investigation was ongoing.
As of 4:42 p.m. EDT, Ontario 511 reported that Highway 599 had been reopened.
