Police arrest two after watching downtown drug deal

KENORA — Two people face charges after police saw a drug deal in downtown Kenora.

Provincial police said officers watched two people conduct a drug transaction on the afternoon of April 27.

One person is charged with drug trafficking, drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.

A second person is charged with drug possession.

Both have been released and are expected to appear in a Kenora court later this month.
