DRYDEN — Four people were arrested after a drug bust in Dryden last week.

Provincial police said a search warrant was executed at a Duke Street residence on Dec. 14, leading to the seizure of quantities of suspected hydromorphone, oxycodone and cocaine.

Police said officers also seized cash and items associated with drug trafficking.

The four people, who are all from Dryden, are each charged with two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

All four have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in a Dryden courtroom next month.

The investigation involved the OPP's community street crime unit in Dryden and Sioux Lookout and its emergency response team, along with the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service.
