Police allege crash caused by impaired driver

A 70-year-old Morson, Ont. man faces multiple charges in the May 5 incident.

LAKE OF THE WOODS – Police say a two-vehicle crash near Frenchman Rock Road in Lake of the Woods Township was caused by an impaired driver.

A 70-year-old Morson, Ont. man was charged with operation while impaired causing bodily harm, dangerous driving causing bodily harm and failure or refusal to comply with demand.

The man’s driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The incident occurred on May 5 at about 3:11 p.m.

The accused faces a June 27 date at the Ontario Court of Justice.
