Pedestrian killed in Dryden collision

Incident occurred on Saturday evening, just before 5:30 p.m.

DRYDEN -- Ontario Provincial Police say a pedestrian has been killed in a collision on Duke Street in Dryden. 

In a release issued on Saturday night, police said they responded to a report of a pedestrian-involved collision just after 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, and despite life-saving measures being enacted, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Traffic investigators are assisting in the investigation. Dryden Fire Service also responded to the call. 

Police have not identified the victim and are asking anyone with information to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
