FORT FRANCES — OPP continue to investigate a recent collision that claimed the life of a pedestrian in Fort Frances.
Police confirmed late Wednesday that a a 29-year-old woman succumbed to injuries suffered in an incident on Second Street East that occurred the evening of Dec. 20, 2023.
She was taken to La Verendrye Hospital, but hospital staff advised OPP on Dec. 24 that she had passed away.
The OPP North West Region traffic incident management and enforcement team, and OPP collision reconstructionists, are assisting in the investigation.
