DRYDEN — Two people face drug charges after the first was arrested on outstanding warrants.
Provincial police said officers made the arrests in Dryden on Sunday, which led to officers finding quantities of suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine.
A 33-year-old Ignace woman and 35-year-old Thunder Bay man each face two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The woman remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in a Kenora regional bail court on Tuesday. The man has been released from custody and is due in a Dryden courtroom next month.
