IGNACE — A 34-year-old Thunder Bay man faces a drug trafficking charge after more than $50,000 worth of cocaine was found during a traffic stop in Ignace.
Provincial police said officers stopped the westbound vehicle on Highway 17 on Monday afternoon.
The investigation led to the seizure of 360 grams of suspected cocaine, which had an estimated street value of $54,000.
The accused is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He is scheduled to appear in a Kenora bail court on Tuesday.
