A sudden death in Wabaseemoong Independent Nations is under investigation.
Provincial police and the Treaty Three Police Service is investigating a death at a residence on Cameroon's Loop in the community on Wednesday.
Police said that though the investigation is ongoing and a cause of death has yet to be determined, it is believed there is no imminent threat to public safety.
The OPP's criminal investigations branch, major crime investigation team, forensic identification services, and crime unit are involved in the investigation.
Police said residents should expect to see an increased police presence in the area.
