KENORA — Provincial police are looking to identify a transport that hit an OPP cruiser and left the scene.

Police said the incident happened on Jan. 15, when officers were doing traffic control after a separate collision on Highway 17A near Caribou Lake.

Police said an officer observed two tractor trailers approaching, one of which struck the stationary, unoccupied police vehicle. The cruiser was left with significant damage.

The vehicle is described as a black transport with a Gold Freight trailer.

The transport was seen on video passing Clearwater Bay at 8:49 a.m.
