DRYDEN – According to OPP Northwest Region, on the evening of June 22 officers with the Dryden OPP detachment responded to an incident at a residence on Swanson Street.
As a result, a 29-year-old has been charged under the Criminal Code with spousal assault and three counts of failure to comply with a release order.
The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the court on June 25.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim.
