KENORA – According to the OPP Northwest Region, just before midnight on April 10, officers and Kenora Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 East near Matheson Bay Road.
A 24-year-old from Rat Portage was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP North West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team and OPP collision re-constructionists are assisting in the investigation.
