OPP investigates intimate partner violence

One person was charged with mischief after an intimate partner violence investigation.

RAINY RIVER – In the early hours of March 24, Rainy River OPP responded to an address in Rainy River and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.

As a result, a 29-year-old from Rainy River has been charged with mischief.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the court in May.

The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim.
