OPP investigate three deaths at Hudson, Ont. residence

Police say there is no threat to public safety after three people were pronounced dead at a Second Street residence.

THUNDER BAY -- Police in Sioux Lookout are investigating the sudden deaths of three people in a residence in Hudson, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police, in a release issued on Sunday night, said they were called to a Second Street residence at about 12:57 p.m. on Saturday following a report of an unresponsive person at the address.

Upon arrival Sioux Lookout OPP and Lac Seul Police Service found three unresponsive individuals, who were pronounced dead at the scene.

Post-mortems will be conducted at the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto later this week to help determine the cause of death. Investigators believe there is no threat to public safety.

Police are asking the public's assistance in this investigation, but have not indicated the cause of the deaths.
