OPP charge two for not complying with a court order

Dryden OPP arrested two individuals for not abiding by court conditions while conducting All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) patrol.

DRYDEN – While conducting ATV patrol in the early morning of June 20, officers with the Dryden OPP and the North West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) located two individuals on a three-wheeled vehicle and conducted a stop.

During the stop, it was revealed that the two individuals were not abiding by court conditions while driving their ATVs.

As a result, a 39-year-old from Dryden was charged with removing a vehicle identification number, failure to comply, failure to surrender evidence of insurance, no plate number, no permit, driving with a passenger, no driver’s licence, driving while under suspension.

A 30-year-old from Dryden charged with failing to comply with a conditional sentence order, removing a vehicle identification number, no insurance, failure to meet vehicle safety standards, and making a false statement.

Both accused have been held in custody and will appear in bail court to answer to the above charges at a later date.
