OPP charge Dryden resident with long list of offences

Officers with Dryden OPP have arrested and charged one individual with numerous criminal offences.

DRYDEN – According to OPP Northwest Region, officers attended a call for service at a residence on Wilson Street in the early evening on May 2.  

After an investigation of the incident, a 42-year-old was arrested and charged with spousal assault, possession of a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of damaging property, uttering threats, four counts of failure to comply with a release order, failure to comply with a prohibition order, and failure to comply with an undertaking.

The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim.
