ATIKOKAN — Ontario Provincial Police have now located a person wanted on an arrest warrant in connection with an alleged bail violation.
The 26-year-old is charged with failure to comply with a release order.
He was last seen in Atikokan but was known to frequent Thunder Bay.
In a news release Friday, police provided a description of the accused and advised anyone knowing his whereabouts, or seeing him, to contact OPP but to avoid approaching him.
A police spokesperson said Monday afternoon the individual had been apprehended in Atikokan.
The charge against him has not been tested in court.
Police thanked the media and members of the public for their assistance.
