FORT FRANCES — A man is in custody awaiting his next court appearance on several charges after an incident Tuesday in Fort Frances.
OPP were called to a local business to investigate a report that a man was suspected to be in possession of a firearm.
Officers confirmed that he had a gun, and placed him under arrest.
The 20-year-old resident of Lac La Croix First Nation faces charges of carrying a concealed weapon, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
He was remanded into custody after an initial court appearance.
