One arrested after break-in at Kenora business

Responding OPP and Treaty Three Police Service officers set up a perimeter and searched for the suspect, which led to the arrest of a 29-year-old.

KENORA — A 29-year-old faces charges after an overnight break-in at a business.

Provincial police said OPP and Treaty Three Police Service officers responded to a break-and-enter happening at a business on Railway Street just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The responding officers set up a perimeter and began searching for the suspect, which led to the arrest.

The accused, who is charged with one count of break and enter, has been released from custody and is due to appear in a Kenora courtroom next month.
