Northwestern Health Unit declares April dental health month

April is Dental Health Month and the Northwestern Health Unit wants to help its residents with their dental health care needs, questions and concerns.

KENORA—The Northwestern Health Unit (NWHU) recently informed residents in the region that, April is Dental Health Month. Throughout month of April, they will be highlighting Dryden’s Dental health team, and offering information regarding dental health care concerns and questions.

The staff of the Dryden office serves the communities of Machin, Red Lake, Ear Falls, Eagle Lake, Wabigoon and Wabaskang, providing services that include dental care, dental hygiene and information regarding dental health.

Residents who have any questions about dental coverage, school screening, preventative services, are encouraged to call 1-855-407-6453 or email  [email protected]  All residents who call the unit in April will be entered into a draw for prizes.

Their dental health care team includes dental hygienists and health educators.
