DRYDEN — New Beginnings Spring Job Fair a huge success.
Northwest Employment Works held their New Beginnings Spring Job Fair, April 27, 2022, at Dryden’s Royal Canadian Legion #63. The event which featured employers from a variety of sectors including Retail, Tourism, Hospitality, Health Care, Transportation, Trades, and Construction, was declared a huge success.
The event organizer which included Patricia Area Community Endeavors (PACE), The Northwest Training and Adjustment Board and the Dryden District Chamber of Commerce, (DDCC) expressed their gratitude to everyone who helped make this such a successful event. They reported over 125 job seekers had “walked through the door and made very positive impressions on the employers in attendance.”
Organizers offered residents, and job seekers in Dryden and the region, the opportunity to meet and discuss jobs, training and job availability, with local and regional businesses. The event was in-person, making it possible to engage in conversation and gain information about the various options available.
With more than 32 local and regional employers participating in the event this year, Northwest Employment Works in partnership with other key organizations and the Dryden District Chamber of Commerce, look forward to making next year’s event, even more successful.
