THUNDER BAY — Sections of Highway 11/17 and Highway 11 west of Thunder Bay were closed to traffic due to weather and road conditions late Tuesday afternoon.
The Ministry of Transportation reported the closure of 11/17 from Kakabeka Falls to Dryden, and Highway 11 from Shabaqua to Atikokan.
There was no indication when the roads might be reopened.

Previously-announced closures of Highway 17 between Nipigon and Marathon, and Highway 11 between Longlac and Hearst, were rescinded late Tuesday afternoon.
