TORONTO—For those who are still not on the voter's list for the upcoming 2022 October Municipal Election, the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) wants you to know that they have created voterlookup.ca to provide electors with an easy way to confirm and update their information for municipal and school board elections.

As Ontarians are aware, the next Ontario municipal and school board elections are on Oct. 24. If you are a resident, owner or tenant of property in Ontario, a Canadian citizen and 18 years of age or older on election day, then you can vote.

MPAC wants each of us to know that we play a role in ensuring a fair electoral system and that, “It is the responsibility of every elector to make sure their information is up-to-date and accurately reflected for electoral purposes.”

By logging into voterlookup.ca, eligible electors can:

  • Confirm or update their electoral information
  • Add an elector's name to an address
  • Change school support for voting in a school board election

This voterlookup.ca site is owned and managed by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC), responsible for identifying all potential municipal, school board and District Social Services Administration Board electors.
