SIOUX NARROWS – NESTOR FALLS – The Super Cell Storm that blow through Nestor Falls a few weeks back is still challenging the community.

The power might be back on, but Caliper Lake Provincial Park is still cleaning up from damage to infrastructures around the park.

Because Caliper Lake remains closed, Nestor Fall announced that the Moose n’ Fiddle Music Festival planned for Aug. 26 and 27 is cancelled.

“It is with much sadness that we make the public announcement that the Moose n' Fiddle Music Festival is cancelled. The Moose n' Fiddle will not take place on August 26th and August 27 as originally planned, officials from Nestor Falls said in a Facebook message.

For those who had tickets to this event, town officials state that Nestor Falls will be refunding all tickets that were sold through Eventbrite. This process began on Aug. 3.

For any tickets purchased in person at select locations like the Travel Centre in Nestor Falls, Northern Ontario Sport Fishing Centre, and/ or Caliper Lake Provincial Park will also be refunded. Please send an email to: [email protected] with the words Refund Requested for the Moose n' Fiddle in the subject line.
