DRYDEN — A 39-year-old has been charged after allegedly assaulting a civilian guard while in custody at the Dryden OPP detachment.
Provincial police said the incident happened on Tuesday evening, leaving the guard with injuries that are not considered life threatening.
No further information about the nature of the assault has been released.
The accused, who is charged with one count of assault, was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Dryden court next month.
