Man arrested after allegedly striking vehicles, OPP says

Ontario Provincial Police say a 42 year-old was charged with causing a disturbance, resisting arrest.

OPP have charged a Kenora man after a reported early-morning disturbance.

KENORA — Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 42 year-old Kenora man after he allegedly struck several vehicles early Wednesday morning.

In a media release, police said they were called about a man “causing a disturbance,” at around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday. He was reportedly yelling and hitting a number of vehicles in the area of Seventh Avenue South.

According to police, they found the man and he resisted instructions from officers as he was being placed under arrest.

The man was charged with causing a disturbance and resisting a peace officer.

He was released from custody, police said, with a future court date.
