Liberals have a candidate for the Kenora-Rainy River

In a surprise turn of events, the Liberals have chosen a candidate in the riding of Kenora-Rainy River.

KENORA – Former candidate Anthony Leek of Kenora is throwing himself into the election as the Liberal candidate.  

This is the third election for Leek. He ran for the Liberal in 2011 and 2014 and now serves as the local Liberal riding association president.

He joins the ballot alongside PC’s Greg Rickford, who currently holds the title of MPP, JoAnne Formanek Gustafson for the NDP, Green Party candidate Catherine Kievning, Kelvin Boucher-Chicago of the New Blue Party and Richard Jonasson of the Consensus Ontario Party.

Leek is a former Emo resident who now lives in Kenora, where he works as an educator and is the promotor of Lake of the Woods Speedway.
