FORT FRANCES – According to OPP Northwest Region, officers were dispatched to a break-and-enter at the laundromat on McIrvine Road on the morning of July 6.

During their investigation, the officers determined that someone had stolen a quantity of property and cash.

However, because of some well-placed security cameras, police quickly identified the thief and promptly arrested the individual a short time later.

As a result, a 38-year-old from Fort Frances is charged with break-and-enter, committing an indictable offence, mischief, and possession of stolen property.

The accused was released by police and is scheduled to appear in court in September.
