KENORA- The municipality of Kenora informed its residents that their very own Kenora U11 AA Thistles have been selected as finalists in the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup.
The Thistles have chosen the Kenora Sledge Hockey Program as their charity of choice to win $100,000. This could go towards the sledge program that is run in their community.
But they need the community’s help. In order to help the Thistle’s win this amazing prize and grow the sport of Sledge Hockey in their community, they need everyone’s vote.
Voting will be open daily from March 19 until April 2. You will only be able to vote once per day.
Residents are asked to return each day during the voting period to show the team their “ultimate support”. The Thistles ask that you vote daily from every and all e-mail addresses you have, and share the post that the team has on their Facebook page.
