KENORA — Mental Health week is well on its way, having begun May 2, 2022. Keewatin-Patricia District School Board reminds students in the region that helpful resources are available to them.

Students and their family can access mental health services and resources by emailing [email protected]. The board shared that each of their schools from K-12, have access to school-based mental health professionals including Mental Health and Addictions Nurses, and Mobile Crisis Services.

In addition, students and families can access these services by contacting the classroom teacher or principal for their school.

The board is ready to provide the needed support their school community may need not only during Mental Health Week, May 2, to May 8, 2022, but throughout the school year.
