KENORA -- City of Kenora is reminding residents they can safely dispose of batteries.
City officials say residents can safely dispose of pile batteries, such as AAA, AA, C, etc, at the Transfer Station year round.
There is no charge.
The self-serve receptacle is located by the summer payment station.
Car batteries and large rechargeable batteries are accepted year round free of charge too. Go to the scale building for directions to the collector bin.
