KENORA -- Municipal bridges may be reduced to one lane throughout the next week for bridge cleaning and maintenance in Kenora.
The following municipal bridges may be reduced to a single lane beginning Thursday, May 5 at 7 a.m. until Wednesday, May 11 at 9 p.m.
- Norlen Bridge – on Anderson Road
- Darlington Bridge – on Darlington Drive
- Eighth Avenue Bridge – on Eighth Avenue South/Highway 17 East
- Keewatin Channel – on Lakeview Drive
- Bay Street Overpass – on Highway 17 West
- Cameron Bay bridge – on Lakeview Drive
- Winnipeg River East Bridge – on Lakeview Drive
- Winnipeg River West Bridge – on Lakeview Drive
- Parson Street Bridge – on Parson Street
- Matheson Street Bridge – on Matheson Street
- Portier Bridge - on East Melick Road
- Seventh Avenue Bridge - on Seventh Ave South
City officials say traffic will be controlled by flag persons. Delays can be expected.
