KENORA – On Dec. 10, Officers with the Kenora detachment of the OPP were sent to a Main Street South business after receiving a report of an intoxicated person assaulting an employee and breaking several items.
Officers responded immediately and located the person nearby, who was arrested after an altercation.
As a result of the investigation, police have charged a 23-year-old female from Kenora, with the following charges:
· Assault
· Assault on a peace officer
· Mischief Under $5000
She is currently being held in custody to answer the charges.
