Kenora resident arrested on drug charges

The accused was found with suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and hydromorphone.

KENORA — A 36-year-old Kenora resident faces several charges after being found in possession of suspected drugs.

Provincial police said officers found an individual wanted on an outsanding warrant in the area of Matheson Street South in Kenora on Monday.

The individual was found with suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and hydromorphone.

The accused is charged with four counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The accused is expected to appear in court on Tuesday for a bail hearing.
