Kenora OPP seized $3,000 worth of drugs

Kenora Community Street Crimes Unit seizes $3,000 worth of cocaine, powder and crack, and prescription narcotics.

On Oct 18, the Kenora Community Street Crime Unit with assistance from the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, and the Kenora OPP executed a search warrant on Garrow Road in Kenora.

The search revealed cocaine, crack cocaine, Prescription narcotics, and other evidence used for the sale of drugs. 

The street value of these drugs is over $3000.00

As a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old female Kenora resident was charged with:

  • Possession for trafficking cocaine
  • Possession for trafficking hydromorphone
  • Trafficking cocaine
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

Further, a, 48 year old, male, has been charged with:

  • Possession of cocaine

The Kenora woman was held in custody and she appeared in court on Oct 19. 

The man was released, and he will appear in court on Nov. 17.
