Kenora no day burning begins April 1

With new burning regulations set to kick in April 1, for Kenora residents, the municipality reminds them to be aware that no day burning will be allowed beginning April 1, 2022.

KENORA—The City of Kenora and their Fire Department informed residents that as of April 1 no day burning will be allowed.

This regulation will be in force from April 1, until Oct. 1, 2022.

Residents can burn in the evening, two hours before sunset until two hours after sunrise. A fire permit is also required and residents can apply for this at City Hall, One Main Street South or at Fire Station One, 100 Fourteenth Street North.
