Kenora man faces multiple drug charges

Altercation leads to arrest of 46-year-old man allegedly in possession of cocaine and magic mushrooms.

THUNDER BAY – A 46-year-old Kenora man faces multiple drug charges after he was arrested on May 28 for an outstanding warrant.

Kenora OPP say the accused was allegedly involved in an altercation with another person. Upon further investigation, police learned one of those involved was wanted on previous warrants.

After arresting the man, they located a large amount of illegal drugs.

The accused has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of magic mushrooms.

He’ll be back in a Kenora courtroom on June 29.
