KENORA — The Municipality of Kenora announced recently that it is looking to expand its fire fighting team. It informed the community that it will be hiring "paid-on-call firefighters."
They described the recruit paid-on-call firefighter as an entry level position in the fire service and that no experience is necessary. Recruits will be given a training program to prepare them for this position.
Kenora Fire added that, “paid-on-call firefighters provide an important service to the City of Kenora and are a dedicated part of our composite fire department.”
