KENORA — The City of Kenora has no chief administrative officer as of this week.

Kyle Attanasio ceased to be CAO on May 21, a statement posted Wednesday on the city’s website said.

“Council thanks Mr. Attanasio for his service and contributions to the City and extends best wishes in his future endeavors,” the statement said.

The city’s statement said CAO responsibilities “will be jointly assumed” by corporate services director Heather Pihaluk and economic development director Stace Gander in the interim.

Pihulak and Gander “bring strong leadership experience coupled with more than 40 years of dedication to the City of Kenora and are committed to maintaining smooth operations across the organization,” according to the statement.
