Please be advised snow removal operations will take place Friday, Jan. 14 and Saturday, Jan. 15 in the following areas:
- Second Street South, from Fifth Avenue South to Eighth Avenue South,
- Fifth Street South, from Highway 17 East to Second Avenue South and Sixth Avenue South.
Traffic delays can be expected.
Signs will be posted in the snow removal area to indicate ‘No Parking’ zones. Vehicles parked in a signed snow removal zone may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
As the City works to clear snow and ice from roads and sidewalks, snow may be left behind, creating windrows. While the operators do their best to prevent this from happening, their priority is to clear the travelled portion of the road or sidewalk.
