The public works department advises residents that hydrant flushing may affect their tap water.

DRYDEN – The City of Dryden will be performing routine maintenance on their fire hydrants, with flushing set to begin on May 19 until June 20.

The public works department advises residents that if they notice their water is murky or brown, leave the cold tap running until the water runs clear.

Water may become discoloured due to sediment off the bottom of the pipes due to the flushing.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with the Public Works office at 223-2367.
