Impending weather postpones SIJHL games

League is adjusting play with another round of winter weather set to hit Northwestern Ontario.

THUNDER BAY – The Superior International Junior Hockey League is adjusting its playoff schedule with another round of winter set to hit Northwestern Ontario.

Games three and four of the Thunder Bay North Stars series with the Wisconsin Lumberjacks will now take place on March 28 and 29 in Rice Lake. The teams were originally scheduled to play on March 25 and 26 but those dates were post-poned.

Meanwhile the Kam River Fighting Walleye and Kenora Islanders will now play on March 29 and 30 in Vermillion Bay.

The North Stars and Fighting Walleye both lead their respective quarterfinals two games to none.
