Impaired charges laid after motor vehicle collision in Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls Township.

SIOUX NARROWS-NESTOR FALLS – The OPP Northwest Region is reporting a single motor vehicle collision has resulted in one individual facing impaired operation charges.

In the early morning of May 25, officers with the Kenora OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 71 in Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls Township.

There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

During their investigation, the officers determined the driver of the single motor vehicle had been impaired by alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.

As a result, a 33-year-old from Kenora has been arrested and charged with impaired driving.

The accused has been released from custody and will appear before the court on June 20.
