SANDY LAKE – Responding to a call for service at the community airport, Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS) officers arrested a 26-year-old from Sandy Lake First Nation for trafficking on Saturday.

According to a NAPS spokesperson, when police arrived they located the suspect and found a quantity of suspected cocaine, oxycodone pills, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
