Ignace Public works facing issues due to weather and shortage of workers

With several key concerns with their Public Works, the township of Ignace is ensuring its residents that their department continues to work hard at clearing snow from recent snowfall amounts.

IGNACE—The Township of Ignace in an effort to ease concerns and stress associated with the delays in snow clearing, informed their residents that the Township’s Public Works department continues to work diligently on clearing snow.

As everyone is aware, there is a lot of snow in their community, but they were also made aware that  Public Works is also dealing with frozen water lines, downed equipment, garbage pickup and a shortage of workers.

The township assured residents that snow will be cleared as soon as they possibly can.

If they have concerns about the roads or hazards, they are instructed to contact the office or email [email protected]

The Township stresses of the importance of its residents informing them of any issues with roads and hazards, in order to be able to address and correct them, as soon as they can.
